"film beleuchter streik letztes jahrhundert hollywood" (film illuminator strike lastcentury hollywood) tells a small surrealist story about the making of film. Black-and-white images from a film set in Berlin, from a street take in an East Europeancity, or images from the opneing night of a movie are changing with laconic orstrangely dramatic text excerpts and notes: “During the last 3 days of shooting:rain, warm water that has to be dyed in blood-red, and during the last thirdchanges from blood to snow!” The succession of slides creates a slow, dream-likesequence during which the viewer soon starts do develop his/her own film. Theopenness of the quasi-documentarian, but narratively loaded cycle leaves spacefor possible projections.

2008, slide projection, 80 slides, b/w, ca. 8 min, no sound. English and German version.
